Bourg Saint-Maurice, La Rosiere, Petit St Bernard and into Italy (& back) – French and Italian Alps

Martin our local guide wanted to take us on some of his top hills from his house so we headed out from Bourg St Mourice taking in the climb to La Roiere and upwards to Petit St Bernard, dropping down to La Thuile over the border in Italy.

This 100km ride definitely blew away the cobwebs after a long drive the day before and started as we meant to go on. Below you can see the profile on the route up towards Petit St Barnard from Bourg, we took a slightly different route off the main road. Unfortunately I can’t find the exact route on Veloviewer, but it was slightly shorter but steeper!
