Big day out in Majorca – Palma to Sa Colabra via Soller and back

A recent trip out to Majorca had me prepping some routes for me and the group I was with. The following route was a fun ride into the Serra de Tramuntana from Palma.

This full day out ticks off several of the top climbs the island has to offer and takes in just under 150km of riding and 3,300metres of elevation.

We were staying in the south of Palma and so the start of this ride is not the best, city riding is not much fun at the best of times so we just motored through that to get into the countryside.

The 3 climbs

This ride takes in the following fun climbs:

  • Coll De Soller
  • Puig Major
  • Sa Colabra (Coll dels Reis)

Each of these are cracking climbs each with their own fun twists and turns. Equally I loved chain ganging back down towards Palma as we had to chase the sun to get back before dark. A great day out!
